Crossing Brooklyn Ferry, the Bryce and Aaron Dessner-curated festival which will take place at Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) next month, will feature a smattering of NewAm artists. On the first day of the festival (May 3), yMusic will take the stage at BAMCafé at 6:00pm. On May 4th, NOW Ensemble will play BAMCafé at 5:00pm followed by Missy Mazzoli and Victoire at 6:00pm on the same stage. At 7:15, Nadia Sirota will play BAM Rose Cinema. On the final day of the festival (May 5th), The Yehudim (NewAm Co-director Judd Greenstein’s band/project) will play BAMCafé at 5:00pm. Also on the final day, yMusic will perform alongside My Brightest Diamond at 8:15pm at the Howard Gilman Opera House.

Also playing the festival will be St. Vincent, Beirut, The Walkmen, Sharon Van Etten, The Antlers, Atlas Sound, Brooklyn, Youth Chorus, Oneohtrix Point Never, Buke and Gase, Jherek Bischoff, So Percussion, Tyondai Braxton, and many others.
