Daniel Wohl’s “Corps Exquis” Releases Single w/ Laurel Halo/Debuts @ Glasslands

Composer Daniel Wohl is giving away the brand new single “323″ from his Corps Exquis project with the new music ensemble Transit right HERE. This single includes a special edit of the track from electronic composer Laurel Halo, “323 (A Laurel Halo Edit)”. (Check out this great New York Times article for more on Laurel Halo.) WNYC will be hosting an exclusive download link to Laurel Halo’s edit on their “Gig Alert” the day of the show. In conjunction with the release of Wohl’s new single, the NewAm Presents Premiere of Wohl’s Corps Exquis will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 13th at Glasslands Gallery on an electrifying bill with Laurel Halo, Forma, and Lorna Dune (stage name of Victoire’s Lorna Krier). Corps Exquis, a large-scale performance piece that exists at the intersection of video installation, rock concert, avant-garde cinema, and experimental classical and electronic music, will be released on New Amsterdam Records in 2012.
